With the Recon 1.0 our goal was simple - put S-Works Recon-inspired performance in a very accessible package. Easier said than done, but we've created a shoe with Body Geometry comfort and efficiency in a durable, dirt-focused shoe. So yeah, mission accomplished.
Using our exclusive STRIDE toe-flex technology, the nylon outsole uses a TPU-injected forefoot for natural movement off-bike, while still providing a stiffness index of 6.0 for in-the-saddle performance. The Recon 1.0 is a double threat - efficiency at the pedals with comfort and confidence off bike.
To create traction off the bike in wet or dry, gravel or dirt, we've covered the nylon outsole with our SlipNot compound. We've also lifted the heel for an even more natural feeling while walking.
Three Velcro closures make slipping into the Recon 1.0 easy, and creates a fit designed for all day comfort and performance, whether your ride calls for open gravel, twisting single track, and more than your fair share of hike-a-bike.
- Body Geometry sole and footbed are built with purpose and backed by science to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce the chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment.
- Injection STRIDE toe-flex technology allows for natural toe movement off-bike but remains stiff for pedaling (stiffness index 6.0)
- SlipNot rubber tread for confident traction on all terrain.
- Two-bolt cleat pattern fits all major MTB pedals.
- Approximate weight: 331g (1/2 pair, Size 42)

From the outset of the Torch 3.0 Road shoe design process, our goal was to create a performance offering as feature-packed as any top-end shoe. The challenge, however, was pulling this off at a palatable price.
In order to achieve this, we utilized three strategically placed materials on the uppers that are welded together—TPU and mesh in the front and synthetic leather in the rear. This makes for a more comfortable and supportive front of the shoe. A stiff rear and heel cup, meanwhile, lock down your heel and keep all of your watts going into the pedals as efficiently as possible. This refined upper is combined with our legendary FACT carbon fiber sole to further ensure an efficient power transfer. Finally, we topped the Torch 3.0 off with two Boa S2-SV Snap dials for zonal closure, and a precise fit that leads to all-day comfort.
- Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment.
- FACT carbon composite sole and torsion box construction is directionally rigid for outstanding power transfer: Stiffness Index 8.5.
- Dual Boa S2-SV Snap dial closure for on-the-fly micro-adjustment, backed by the Boa Lifetime Guarantee.
- Mesh, TPU, and synthetic layer upper are placed in specific zones for comfort and lock-down, and are thermobonded for a superior fit.
- Standard Fit for support and all-day comfort.
- Three-bolt cleat pattern fits all major road pedals.

If you're ready to step up to a higher-performing option that looks good and feels great, the Torch 2.0 is the perfect upgrade for you. The Torch 2.0 is the ideal intersection of high performance and comfort, offering you a pair of shoes you can count on, whether you’re joining their first group ride or clipping into the spin bike to get their sweat on.
Body Geometry Methodology: The human body evolved to walk, not pedal, which leads to power-robbing foot collapse, misalignment of the foot, knee, and hip, as well as “hot foot” in traditional cycling shoes. The Torch 2.0, like every Body Geometry shoe, helps solve these problems with three patented technologies - Varus Wedge, Longitudinal Arch & Metatarsal Button - to deliver a pain-free increase in power that’s validated by scientific testing and two decades of well-documented ass kicking.
Comfort: For a secure fit, the Torch 2.0 utilizes a singular, premium Li2 Boa dial with Dyneema softlace cables - comprised of a fiber that eliminates unnecessary stretch and uses soft woven guides for added comfort. Additionally, the fully perforated, seamless upper eliminates stitching within the shoe that can cause irritation to the top of the foot. The seamless upper is also fully laser-perforated for increased ventilation.
Off-Bike Confidence: Large rubber grips on the outsole of the toe and heel provide a stable, grippy platform for a seamless transition off the bike and into your local coffee shop and provide more confidence for riders when pushing off pavement to clip in or coming to a stop at a traffic light. All in all, the rubber grips help the shoe grab onto concrete for a worry-free, stabilizing feel when not clipped in.
- Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment.
- Woven Carbon sole engineered to be stiff, yet light with a large rubber heel and toe for off-the-bike traction.
- BOA Li2 dial for dual direction micro-adjustments and pop release, forefoot strap for fine-tuning fit.
